#ChefConf 2012 is just a few days away, and we are going to have a very full event! Several people have asked about the schedule for Tuesday & Friday workshops and/or if we can squeeze any more people in. We are sending this overview to help eliminate any confusion. Chef 0.10.10 released!
We have another epic Chef release ready for you with over 120 closed tickets. The default bootstrap template for knife has changed in this release. If you haven’t been specifying a template with the “-d” flag, you’ve been using the “ubuntu10.04-gems” template.
Chef 0.9 EOL
As of June 11, 2012, we are officially ending support for the 0.9 series of Chef and we are encouraging all Chef 0.9 users to upgrade to Chef 0.10. Chef 0.10.0 was released on May 2, 2011. At the time, we planned to support Chef 0.9 for an additional three to six months.
